X-files is back. Get hyped!

It's late, I know. But still. I get to watch X-files again!

They managed to shake this old series to life again. It was back in 1993 it was aired for the first time. And then it went on to be the science fiction series for a long time.

Now it is back. And they managed to get the same actors playing Mulder and Scully. I am watching the first new episode right now while writing this text. It has been out for a week or something so I am late, but that does not matter.

A few days ago I watched the first episode from the first season. When those series were aired in the 90's. There was no Viaplay, no Netflix or even DVD's. So if you missed when it was aired, it was not easy to watch it afterwards unless someone recorded it using a VCR.

In other words, there are sooo many episodes that I have never seen. So watching the series from the beginning on Viaplay will be wonderful. If you are looking for something to watch, I would recommend watching X-files from the beginning.

Special ep The Fit Gamer Podcast

Episode 22.5 - Special Episode of The Fit Gamer Podcast

This is a special episode that is all about the new guidelines regarding transgenders in the Olympic games.

Reassignment surgery no longer required! Will this mean that all the world records in the female olympics will be erased by female-to-male athletes?

It is a subject worth thinking about. Considering the fact that everyone has the same right to do whatever they like, like changing their gender. But if they would have advantages, would it be fair to the other female athletes?

You can listen to the episode in the player below or find it on iTunes, aCast and Stitcher. You can reach Stitcher via the banner below.

Louis van Gaal gets hints from the stands

Brilliant signs from the fans vs Derby

Fans who came up with a clever sign.

And it is actually spot on. There are constantly talks about van Gaal leaving Man Utd due to their results. And while he is not getting the results that is expected, he is playing it safe and defensively.

While winning, would there have been complaints about boring football?
- Probably.

Would it have been as many critics?
- No, Not even close.

Do I believe that defensive football is bad football?
No, I can enjoy a defensive and tactic approach to the game. However, when not conceding. It would be nice to score a few goals to manage to get three points from the games though. And the statistics during the start of the season spoke about few attempts on goal.

But at the same time. Man Utd were close to the top of the table during the entire start of the season. Yes, it is because the rest of the top teams were failing to perform as well. But still. Cut him some slack.

No matter what the result is at the end of the season. I read or heard somewhere that he signed for 3 years and that he had no intention of trying to build something long-term. He signed on for 3 years and that is the time he will spend in Manchester.

Would I have liked someone trying to build another dynasti?
- Of course. But at the present time maybe something stable and secure is the best. I mean van Gaal has been making miracles with the defense since he took over.

Every single time the ball came down towards our defense I got nervous. It hurt inside, I liked Evans, Smalling, Blackett and McNair a lot. Guys who have been at the club for a long time or who came from the academy. I wanted them to succeed so badly but they kept making the wrong decisions in dangerous situations.

What did Louis say to Smalling?
- He is amazing now. I'd say give him the rank of captain when Rooney is not on the field.

Fun challenges in Football Manager

Which challenge will you take on next?

Every season soccer fans are shocked by some clubs and how poorly they played. Or some teams will surprise the fans positively. Either way. These teams present us Football Manager players with intresting challenges.

I mean, when a "big club" fails to perform. Surely you can do better, right? Right?
We all think like that.

Another thing is the clubs that used to win titles some 10-20 years back. Whatever happened to those teams?

To name some of the teams that fail miserable in real life... How about names like A.C. Milan, Deportivo La Coruna, Liverpool, Roma, Lazio, Blackburn and Leeds. These are just some I came up with straight away. I am sure there are other clubs that are even better examples.

I am a sucker for A.C. Milan from growing up. I am not following the team in real life but for some reason I feel great when managing them on Football Manager.
Blackburn is another team I like to try, I usually never manage to stay focused on them for a long time though. I remember when they won the Premier League. That was not thaaaat long ago, 1995. What a fall since then.

New Harry Potter trilogy

Hype! Hype! Hype! November 2016!

The new movies will take place 70 years before the previous Harry Potter movies. That means in the 1920's and in New York this time.
From a book written by J.K.Rowling, under the pseudonym "Newt Scamander". This is actually a textbook that Harry Potter purchases for his first year at Hogwarts. This is some insane shit right here. An actual book, to explain a part of the Harry Potter universe.

According to the source I read 80% of the revenue from the book goes to poor children in different places. Another book like it has already been released, "Quidditch through the ages". It is supposed to have raised around 17 million pounds for charity. Sounds insane, right! Wikipedia for the win!

So this is really something huge. Like J.R.R Tolkien did with Lord of the rings, creating a universe surrounding the story.

The trailer for the movie.

So we will get to know Newt Scamander on his journey to find magical creatures? Sounds awesome! I bet there will be a lot of cool ones and awesome special effects.

Personally I will be more intrested in seeing more about how the world of magic turned out to the world it is in the original movies.
Do we get to see more about a young Dumbledore? The death relics being used?

And will the entire trilogy be about Newt? I hope we get to follow other characters as well. Maybe a new main character in each movie?

Fun fact. Reading the list of characters and which actors are going to play them, one role in particular makes you blink.

Proper session at the gym!

Finally back at the gym with someone to watch my back

It has been a while since I went to the gym for a proper workout and having someone with me. Now I felt fucking great today. All traces of the cold that has bothered me for months is gone! At least for now...

What did I do when I finally could perform a proper workout?

Well, I was so excited that I mixed quite a bit but I focused on chest since I could finally use the benchpress properly.
If I can call it properly. It has been a while since I used it so I did not really feel as strong as I used to be but I will get there, I will get there!

The different exercises can be found Here! in the database on my blog. Instructional videos on how to perform them as well.

To continue talking chest workout I continued with incline dumbbell benchpress. And this is a funny thing that one need to think about every time. When choosing the weights. At first you need to remember what weights you used last time. Then, and this is important, you need to remember in what order you did the exercises.

This is why. If you have been using the benchpress first, you will not be able to lift as heavy dumbbells as you would if you did that exercise first!

To finish off the chest part of this post I sat down in the pec deck. I did do a lot of other exercises that hit the chest area as well, since I did some triceps exercises as well. I did not manage to get that pump that I am going for during every workout session. Not in the chest at least.
Triceps felt way more exhausted after the workout session was done. And that is like Arnold would have said, like cumming.

I did some triceps in the cable cross doing cable pushdowns and pulldowns. Then I played around some with the dumbbells but not really performing any exercise too serious. I finished off strongly though with a machine that basically makes you perform dips.

My favorite part of this whole workout session was standing in front of the big mirrors doing my biceps curls. Watching the muscles work, the veins swell and just enjoy the moment. I wish I had a picture of that. That is what makes this thing called workout so addictive. To see results, see the muscles work - I love it!

Lets just hope I did not scare my new gym buddy too bad, and that he will continue with me on this path. Give me some weights and large mirrors and say bye bye to sanity.
It is fucking on! Gametime! Bye normal Roman and hello narcissistic beast within.... The kind of personality that I suppose lives in a lot of people that do work out regurarly.

PC and Mobile owns Consoles in earnings 2015

Did you think that console were beating PC?

Think again, here are some amazing statistics! I found them on Gamereactor.eu and I had to share them with you guys.

Look at the low numbers in the console column! What is happening. I did not think that it was this low compared to the Mobile games even!

Why is this?

Well, the PC and Mobile games are available to a larger number of people. It might be as simple as that. It probably is too.

I just did not think it was this big of a difference.

Grand Theft Auto V is on both PC and Console. On that particular game, consoles make more money. League of Legends that is a free to play game is on top. Micro-transactions is all of those numbers? Or is broadcast rights etc accounted for? I have no idea.

Future is bright for Nintendo

Future for Nintendo

Tatsumi Kimishima, a Nintendo president, made a big interview recently where he spoke about the future of the company. It is a subject that has been target of much speculation.
Their competition, Sony and Microsoft, have been owning the console scene for a few years now.
At first Nintendo released the Nintendo Wii and it was not that bad of a release. It was cheaper than the competition, it had something unique at the time and it was still the thing parents were most likely to purchase to their kids.
The Wii Sports was a big hit. I can remember playing that golf game to the point where I could not fail any shot basically - and I did not even own the console.

After that though, the Wii-U came out and my personal opinion is that it was never really noticed by the big masses. The name is too similar, how would people know it was a new console?
So the company has been really weak compared to the competition in XBOX and PS4.

The new console, known as the NX, will be something new. The fact that they are working together with a mobile game developer, DeNA, have led to a lot of speculation about it being handheld in some ways.
I have heard somewhere that it might be a standard console. But with a controller that can be used as a handheld game on its own. And in the past, the handheld market has been the market  that Nintendo has dominated.

He has set a high goal for the company. By doing certain small changes he is looking to make last years profit times four.
One of the things mentioned is to get big on the mobile market.

Nintendo, oh Nintendo

Nintendo, my old favorite company

Today, I would call my younger self a fanboy. I had my Nintendo machines and those were the ones I played a lot and was any good at.

The competitors were Sega and Play Station during different points in time.

At first there was the old Nintendo NES. 8-bit of wonderful graphics.

Super Mario jumping around, playing golf and driving boats. In todays standards, it would basically just look like a screen full of blocks. But the lack of graphics was no problem, my imagination fixed everything. So it actually felt like I could handle Mario in a way that those few keys should make possible.

There was a small store that sold and repaired these consols in the city where I grew up. Since there was no Internet available, the only way to actually know what games existed, was to check in from time to time to see which games the store had.

One of the things that made the technology feel unreal was the fact that you could use a gun and point it at your TV and kill ducks.

Duck Hunt was the game that I used the pistol for. And it was science fiction, in my home!

Then the new times came. A new generation of consols. Nintendo 64! The thing stuck in my mind at the time was the fact that it was 64 bit, not 32 like the Play Station. And it was all about the Play Station vs Nintendo 64 at that time.

The controller was really unique for the Nintendo 64, I could not handle a Play Station controller at all, even for the easiest of games. Which made me be even more pro-Nintendo.

The Goldeneye 64 was, is and will always be legendary. It was something brand new. I had just seen the movie Goldeneye and I was not the best at the english language. Soooo I played the game, just managing to complete the different missions by following the memory I had from the movie.

After a few years noone would ever play me in that multiplayer anymore. Luckily for me there was a new game being released. It was actually a game that had a lot of bonus content that they brought in from the Goldeneye 64. But this was Perfect Dark, a game that took everything that was Goldeneye and took it one step further.
Into the world of science fiction, even more than James Bond with Qs crazy gadgets.

And lets just wait a second. What about The Legend of Zelda! Oh man. I had never really been into the entire Zelda before the Nintendo 64 came out with Ocarina of Time.
It was christmas eve and I can feel the room where we sat, hear the music from Kokiri Forest playing while Link runs around gathering rupees.

Then there was Wii and in between a whole lot of handheld devices. But that is another story and not my Nintendo memories

Joe Diesel Riggs

Man, I remember Joe "Diesel" Riggs

I was at the gas station earlier tonight and all of a sudden I came to think about this guy, Joe "Diesel" Riggs! Back at UFC 56 for example, when he fought Matt Hughes. Joe was this really cool character coming up, with a cool nickname and a big ass tattoo with "DIESEL".

Below I found a highlight video on Youtube.

I guess it is even easier to remember him due to some controversy that was around a fight with Nick Diaz where there even were some fighting done at the hostpital after the fight was done. An article about it can be found HERE.

I have not followed the UFC for a few years now like I used to back in -06. But now I can see that the Diesel is back in the UFC. His Twitter page states that he is on his way back to the top. And I can't see why not, he was really young back in -06 and now he has a lot more experience.

Oculus Ready PCs

Oculus Ready PCs - For real?

Looking at the specs, remembering the things said about VR - these are definitely not good....

If you are trying to play with your VR on a computer that makes it lag, you will feel naucious and puke. And at this very moment the worst Graphics card you can use for the features being created for VR is the Graphics card in this package!

The computer does not seem to have SSD-drive and it has only 8Gb memory. Wait a few months for prices to drop when the new stuff comes out that is actually made to handle VR or just buy better stuff now that will last longer.

Here is a question. Why would you want to buy this shit then? It will most likely not be able to run the games in like 6 months time and you would have to buy a new computer!

Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid gets punished

The Madrid clubs won't be allowed to buy players for 2 transfer windows

Barcelona was the first club that was punished like this for signing young players. Now it has gone so far that I think it is decided that Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid are also getting the same ban now.
And it comes at a time where Barcelona can sign players again. So congratulations Barcelona!

It seems that other clubs might get punished in the future as well. Arsenal and Chelsea is being targeted at the moment.
I honestly believe that almost any major club is probably playing with fire, why are only these clubs so investigated?

Is this really happening?

Episode 21 of The Fit Gamer Podcast

Episode 21 of The Fit Gamer Podcast is out now!

During this episode Roman tells you about his attempt to do the thing where you put on your pants without using your hands.

As usual we can't stay away from the subject of VR since it is such a big thing nowadays. Oculus has put together some computers for the Oculus Rift, but are they really any good?

We discuss Periodic Fasting and a bit about how it would actually work out in real life with schedules etc. We also mention a game that has been removed from App store and Google Play due to it being too controversial.

Try EA Access for free

Take the chance to try EA Access

One thing that has become popular within the Xbox One community is EA Access. There are some free games, discounts and early access to be found.

If you still haven't tried it you can try it for free 19th January - 24th January. This requires Xbox Live Gold though.

Some of the games that you will gain access to are Battlefield: Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition and EA Sports UFC.

Personally I'd say the games are not bad at all. That Dragon Age is something that I still am waiting to try out. When I see a nice empty slot in my schedule I will enjoy that. I love the previous games.

Periodic Fasting & More

Lets talk fasting

This ain't no f-ing scientific article or some shit like that. This is me mentioning shit that that I find intresting. Got any questions or want some deeper knowledge, msg me on Twitter or leave a comment.

Fasting is something done by certain cultures to celebrate traditions. But it is also used by medical staff to relieve the intestines from stress in order to heal an inflammation and in the world of fitness it is used as a way to diet.

To have a full fast based on just drinking water is not something used by a lot of athletes regurarly, for obvious reasons. You simply would have no energy for your workouts.

There are however something called Periodic Fast. That means that you fast every day, but only for 16 hours. Then you have 8 hours left in which you are allowed to eat.
It takes some planning but it should be no problem to eat all your calories for the day during these 8 hours.

I did this for some time and I enjoyed it. But I failed to continue doing it when my working hours changed. And now I feel that there is no point in even trying to make a schedule that would work.

One day my working day starts at 7am and the next day it can start at 2pm. When the hours differs so much and I have not a lot of opportunity to eat while at work it is tough. I can't even work out at the same time each day either which make it even harder.

That means I would trying to perform a workout without eating before or after. And that would be catabolic, breaking down the body.

I have friends that do have regular working hours, being able to work out at the same time every day and they are happy about this method. Exactly like I was when I could keep it up.

A few years back there were soo many people soo sure that you had to eat every third hour not to be unhealthy. What a load of crap!

You don't have to eat every third f-ing hour to keep your metabolism alive. And when it comes to gaining or losing weight, unless you are suffering from a medical condition. The formula is calories in – calories out. Enough said!

When it comes to fasting longer periods of time, like for an entire day every once in a while. I suppose the main reason is to allow your intestines to rest. When you don't eat, there won't be anything to digest.

If you feel like you won't be able to do any fasting because your blood glucose dips too low. If you still are intrested in things like this, I suggest that you go see your doctor in order to take a quick blood sample for the glucose levels after you have been fasting for the night.

A lot of people that say they have to eat something because their glucose are low are probably experiencing something else. Not everyone! Not saying that you can ignore what you feel. I am saying, make an appointment before playing around with fasting if you think you will get affected in a bad way.
Because some people actually are sensitive for not eating regurarly.

Big name in business claims that PS4 will have most titles for VR

Will PS4 VR have the best start?

A lot of people will have to choose between Oculus Rift, HTC VR, Vive Pre or Sony PS4 VR. One big name in the business, working for gamestop claims that Play Station 4 will be at the top when it comes to the amount of games.

However, the article that I read made a good point though. Gamestop in the U.S sell mostly console games. Which would actually make them profit from more console players buying the Sony VR. Since they would purchase more Play Station 4 games in the future.

He is primarily talking about the number of games. Not whether or not they will be the best games.

Another thing that speaks in the favor of Sony is the rumours of the price being close to what the Play Station 4 cost. Unless there has come any new information about it, it sounds like it would be cheaper than the competition.
If you already own a Play Station 4 at least. And that is a big part of it all. You will most likely continue on the path on which you were already on.

Let the competition continue! May the consumers profit by the different alternatives battling it out trying to give us the best product!

Will Leicester actually have a shot at winning the Premier League?

This is starting to become reality, Leicester on the road to win the title

We say the same thing every year. There are often one unexpected team around the top of the table. Well, this time that team is Leicester. And when we are into January they are still there.

Even though they have had some problems with injuries, they keep their momentum going. They managed to keep their squad from being ransacked by the bigge clubs during the transfer window as well so far.

What is the secret? What has changed so much since last season?

Looking at the table, there are a few teams that you would think will finish strong. Liverpool is at 9th place at the moment. They should be able to climb some before the season is over.

Manchester United should definitely move up the table as well, but the way things are going it is not something to be taken for granted.

Tottenham are fourth at the moment, they might actually stick around up there I think. West Ham was one of the teams performing really well last season as well. Will they be able to keep it up this season? If I remember correctly they are suffering some bad injuries that is not exactly helping.

The big difference between the clubs in the Premier League is not the starting 11 players. The smaller clubs are having really good players there, not much different from the top clubs.
The difference however is the reserves for the starting eleven. What happends when the season comes closer to the end and the squad is getting tired from all the games they have played over the entire season. Will they stay free from injuries on their key players?

I can not stop laughing to this picture

I can't believe I did not know that this word was this messed up when split apart

Found it on my Facebook news feed. Just sat their at work during lunch break laughing to myself.

Snoop Dog apparently play Xbox Live

Snoop Dog gets mad when Xbox live goes down

He posted a video on Instagram where he addressed Bill Gates and Xbox Live asking them to get their shit together.

I mean. Wow. That is one character that you did not expect would go public moaning about his online games not working properly. At least a few years back.

Honestly, since I saw a few minutes when Snoop met David Beckham in a video and they played soccer with Snoop Dogs kids and stuff. It felt like you got to see a real person behind all the gangsta rap. And now that person is playing Xbox enough to get mad when the servers go down! Awesome.

Following this link you can see the video. Article containing the video

Bjergsen becomes a Red Bull athlete

Red Bull got their man in eSports - Bjergsen

Red Bull is a compay that has awesome commercials on TV where people starts flying. They purchasing football clubs (soccer) in Europe. They even sent a guy up into the fucking atmosphere, for him to jump!

What would be their next big move?
Bjergsen!

They have a lot of different athletes that they sponsor in different ways. When browsing through them you can tell that there are a lot of sports where there is a lot of action. And there were so many that I could not find the energy to really browse them all.

But I haven't heard of another person in eSports being one of their athletes. On the other hand, the whole scene of eSports is a huge market for energy drinks.

On their website there are news about eSports like League Of Legends, Dota2, and Starcraft 2. So I guess they are more involved than I knew.

Now they have signed Bjergsen as their man and I  think it is awesome to see a star from eSport getting recognized like this. He is among all these sport stars now. They should do one of these commercials that says "Red Bull gives you wings", by simply showing ingame footage of Poppy ulting Bjergsen.

Synephrine

My first impression of Synephrine Boost

Only take one each day the bottle said. Don't use caffeine at the same time they said.
I just got fucked and had a bad day!

I need caffeine to function, that means to avoid a headache. I did not think about that this morning. So I went ahead and took a Synephrine Boost. Then later on I realised that I should not take a caffeine pill as well.

Yea sure. It should not be dangerous or anything. But I had barely eaten during the day and I was still at work. So I did not want to risk getting too hyper or anything.

So I got a massive headache in the afternoon. Two pain killers and a caffeine pill down the system in order to survive the rest of the day. Now in the evening I am back to normal.

Effects of the Synephrine Boost
Did I feel some massive effect? Not really. I mean, I felt something good. But that is no different from after a caffeine pill. Did I feel less hungry? I don't know. I did not eat very much during the day but that was more about the lack of time to prepare a meal before going to work rather than not being hungry.

Negatives
Considering that I need caffeine (it is not actually such a crazy addiction, I used to drink a lot of coffee until recently) the idea of taking a supplement that is not including caffeine. And at the same time stopping me from taking a caffeine pill. That idea does not sound any fun at all.
"The product is a very safe supplement as long as it is not taken along with other stimulants, like caffeine for example."

That is what the bottle says. And that last line is just a kick to the balls.

Conclusions so far
Personally if I am to continue to follow the recommendations from the can, this will not work out the way I wanted it to. However I think that I will dare to use caffeine a bit later though. Maybe not take them at the same time at an empty stomach.

It is basically either that or throw them away. Caffeine is king! End of story..

Froggen goes NA

Froggen goes to NA like many before him

I actually missed that tweet when it originally came out. I were listening to a League of Legends podcast and they read the line-ups for the spring split and I heard Froggen as the mid-laner in one NA team.
Say what?!

I did not hear it wrong though. And come to think about it. It is not really unexpected is it? Froggen is such a big and famous character and the NA scene seems to draw the biggest names.

With such a big name, he can definitely profit from the money that is in the NA LCS. So he will do what other europeans did before him, conquer America!

I hate to see him go though. Now he will be the enemy in the Allstars. But either way, I wish him all the best of luck!

Twitter will be fine with 10k Characters

Twitter with 10k Characters will be okay

People are going crazy on forums and other places regarding the news about Twitter implementing 10k character long tweets.

Is it said that it will be reality?
I don't think so. But it will probably be implemented in the future.

Here is the thing though. People actually think that their Twitter feed will be full of 10 000 letter long tweets! Take a look at Facebook or Instagram, is your feed full with long ass texts?

Don't think so! They show you a short preview of the damn text and you have to click it to actually see the entire text.

So please stop the damn drama. Do you actually think Twitter would be that dumb?

Twitter will keep on being this place where people type short messages but there will be less links to different places since people can actually write the texts in Twitter. Isn't that a good thing?

The future is here - VR!

VR is here! We are doomed!

If you have ever played Fallout, you will know of what I am talking. A big world where it is just toxic gas everywhere. The world is not what it used to be.

That is my prediction about this VR thing. Virtual Reality will allow us to completely neglect reality. Then the world will begin to fall into the universe that is Fallout. A bit drastic perhaps. But believe me, a lot of people will get really addicted by this VR business. And while the real world is a place of disaster and toxic enviroments we will all sit indoors using a Virtual Reality device to live our lives.

Imagine yourself sitting in your appartment and just enjoying the most beautiful enviroments, being super strong with magical powers and you feel almighty
You consider the idea of removing the device covering your eyes and go out in the real world for a while to live the normal life.

The first thing that happen is that you realise that you need to empty the trashcan and take out the garbage. Since you have to leave the compartment either way, you might as well pick up some food.

On your way to the supermarket you find yourself bombarded with newspaper headlines about war and misery. The weather is cold and wet. You are cold since you did not wear enough clothes. Then you ask yourself.

Why would I leave the virtual world ever again?!

Is this going to happen in the next year or two? No, not so soon. When the technology is perfected though, the temptation of staying in the Virtual Reality world will be strong. Too strong for some people I'd say.

My buddy Bas is already having mixed feelings towards the news about VR being released. He also sees this future, and how he will struggle to resist using this technology too much.

We will be talking a lot about the subject of these Virtual Reality devices on the podcast. Since there will be a few different ones, we would like to get some good information out there to help you guys decide which one to purchase.

Something I can tell you right now, is that maybe you should wait with buying any computer equipment. Since the entire industry is waiting to see how this VR business will affect the world of gaming, we should wait too.

In order for the companies to be able to sell these new games using the technology of VR, they need to make sure that the gamers can afford the machines for it. Which means, hopefully the prices will drop on the gaming computers in the near future.

And most of all, there will be new hardware released that is built to handle these new VR games.

Supplement for Gamers

There are supplement for Gamers

In the business of workout suppliments there are products called things like "Gamer". I don't know how big it is in other countries, but in Sweden there have been some talk about this.

Since it is marketed on sites that normally attracts people from the fitness industry, it can seem odd to a lot of people seeing the product when they are browsing their usual webstore. This particular product that I noticed got commented as early as 2009 on forums. Which means that the product itself is not very new.

The ones commenting on it were probably these old gym rats who has not really grown up with the whole gaming thing. And some were trashing it pretty hard saying that by putting the lable gaming on the product, they can charge a lot more for it.
The things in the product itself, they were kind of okay with. Just the fact that it would probably be cheaper to get other ones with the same ingredients but without the label "Gamer".

The caffeine in it is not much to be honest. My cheap caffeine supplement is having twice the amount of caffeine and is a loooot cheaper.

So if you are looking for some way to save money on all those Red Bulls you are drinking. There are other ways, like caffeine pills. By looking at the amount of caffeine per serving, you can easily make the math to make sure you get the same amount that you would from a Red Bull.
I would not recommend you to take caffeine supplements and at the same time drink energy drinks. Since you might get a bit too much caffeine into your system.

With all the talk nowadays on performing enhancing drugs etc in eSports. The thing about taking caffeine pills instead of drinking all those energy drinks should not even be something to debate.

Would I consider supplements being a good thing in eSports?

Definitely! The industry that creates a lot of different energy drinks is not exactly having the gamers health as their top priority.

If there would be some serious supplements created to actually help the gamers out, it would be awesome indeed. Maybe there actually are some famous ones out there that I just have missed.

Southpark on my Viaplay

Wow! Some nice memories. Southpark on Viaplay

I just found seasons 1-19 on my Viaplay. It is fucking amazing! Laughing so hard at the moment. Cartman is eating a supplement called "Weight Gain 4000" in order to become a "beefcake".

I had totally forgotten about some of these old episodes. Now I have countless of hours of entertainment!

Beefcake! Beeeeefcake!

Froggen is unreal!

Did that really happen - and TWICE?!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a long time. Look how these games end. I mean, during the podcast when I mentioned watching the Allstars - I had not seen this. I still said that Froggen was the fun player to watch.

And he delievered again! The most entertaining 1v1 player by far.

Watch all of his matches during this 1v1 tournament. I will add the two latest videos below for you to watch. Like, whaaat?! Is it even possible?

See what I am talking about? Insane. Ban snowballs when Froggen is nearby! xD

Music is my meditation

Music is a big part of my life

I am a lot about motivation. And music is a great way for me to find motivation.

I can have a really shitty day and everything is against me. I might have hit my head in the kitchen cabinets, hit my toe when walking past a chair and just random stuff like that making life a little less enjoyable.

Then I have a shift at work starting soon as well.

What do I do?

I start my Mp3-player or use my phone for Spotify and play music that always gets me in a good mood. Below there is a song that always makes me feel good.

"Was it life I betrayed for the shape that I'm in?"
I can often interpret that as all the parties and fun things through life that I have turned down. But now I do have my body and health to be satisfied with. I actually stumbled across that song when watching a video called "Best of Jay Cutler" back in the days. So it has always been an inspirational video to me.

No, I haven't sacrificed even close to what Jay Cutler has. Nor am I near the shape that he is in. But the music puts me in a great mental state. And that is what matters.

For some reason I do enjoy a lot of Marilyn Mansons calm songs. I don't think the message I pick up in them for motivation is the message that was intended. But anything that works for me, right?

Soundtrack when walking around

When walking around with music in my ears I feel like the music is controlling everything around me and I can just float around feeling calm and happy. Nothing matters, everything just is.
It is actually quite nice and is important for me.

The times when I often listen to music is on the way to and from work. And when I go to the gym. The gym is not even necessary to mention since it always makes me feel at home.
But the most intresting upsides is when I go from work with music in my ears.
When I am not at work, I need to drop everything surrounding it. My mind need to think about other things than what I do think about when I am actually at work. I really love my job but I can't walk around at home thinking about it.

I work within the hospital business and meets a lot of people with sad stories to tell. Taking negative feelings like that with me on my free time, that would hurt me in the long run. And when my shift ends, I put the music in my ears and just goes into a great state of mind. Calm!

This is perhaps my way of finding a calm and peaceful place in this hectic world that we live in.
Have you found yours?

I have a hard time with things like yoga and massages. That is my personal experience though. If that is the answer to some people, I'd say 'good for them'. Everyone needs to find that calmness somewhere.

Episode 19 of The Fit Gamer Podcast

Episode 19 of The Fit Gamer Podcast

During this episode there is a bit more focus on the fitness aspect of it and less on the gaming. We are discussing a lot about pre-workout supplements. Both what is now and how we have used it over the years.
The products on the market are a lot different and the needs have changed as well.

We are talking some about the new technology that is coming, Virtual Reality!

Maybe you should wait and see what is happening on the market before you purchase anything. There are some talk about games going to be released during 2016 as well.

Bas is mentioning the Netflix documentary that has gotten a lot of heat recently.
